Description
Acrylic and molding paste on canvas. 36″ x 60″ Inspiration and Creative Process: Memento or Good Morning to Myself Sleep is the most unconscious state and the closest we come to nothingness. It is essential for survival and an inescapable part of life. Within this void, dreaming emerges—a journey into the deepest layers of our subconscious. Sometimes, our dreams blur the boundaries between reality and imagination, leaving us unsure of what is real. This painting explores the mystery of sleep and the transition from nothingness to the subconscious. Intersecting and layered spaces create a sense of dimensionality, where reality and abstraction coexist. Silhouetted figures wander aimlessly through this fragmented, multi-layered space, lost in the illogical flow of a dreamscape. Through this work, I seek to capture the enigmatic and intangible experience of dreaming—where the familiar becomes surreal, and meaning is elusive.
