Framed: framed floating on white acid free mat in white architectural 1/2″ wooden frame with UV Plexi Cooking is another form of creating. Marnie fills her kitchen with art, flowers, herbs, music, pottery, colorful glassware and lots of cookbooks! Marnie’s “Herb Series” highlights how fresh herbs can be both decorative like flowers, but also elevate the flavors of a home cooked meal. A garnish is like a brushstroke, a final addition to a creation. She approached this series with quick gestures in pencil and paint. She wanted to keep the illustrations fresh and vibrant like the herbs themselves. While these work well together hung in a grid or line, they also stand individually.
