Eligibility for Returns
• Original Art and Custom Pieces:
• Due to the nature of original artwork, returns are only accepted if the item arrives damaged, defective, or does not match the description provided at the time of purchase.
• Customized or commissioned pieces are non-refundable unless damaged during transit.
Return Process
1. Initiate a Return:
• Contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@thelocalcanvas.com with your order number, a brief explanation, and photos of the item (if damaged).
2. Approval:
• Once we receive your request, we’ll review it and notify you within 2 business days if the return is approved.
3. Shipping:
• If approved, you will receive a return shipping label (if applicable).
• Return shipping fees may apply unless the item is damaged or defective.
Refunds
• Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
• Shipping fees are non-refundable, except for damaged or defective items.
Exchanges
• Exchanges are not offered for original art pieces due to their one-of-a-kind nature.
• For curated items, exchanges may be available based on stock availability.
Items Not Eligible for Return
• Final sale items or pieces marked “non-returnable.”
• Art damaged after delivery due to improper handling or installation.
• Commissioned and personalized works.
Damaged or Defective Items
• If your order arrives damaged, please report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the item.
• We will work with you to resolve the issue through a replacement (if possible) or refund.
